Innovation Playground: New metaverse space by Instinct

Metaverse, 26th September 2023 – Instinct's Innovation Playground is a metaverse space dedicated to the exploration of 3D design, immersive experiences, and new technologies, with the unique feature of being the first metaverse space to allow visitors to choose their language (Portuguese or English), adapting the entire experience, including the visual interface and dialogue with avatars.
Upon entering the Innovation Playground, visitors are guided by Helpy, a drone that provides instructions throughout the visit (in both audio and text) and helps solve various challenges, such as discovering the signs of the innovation horoscope, helping a cryptocurrency fan recover their passwords, meeting the founders of Instinct, taking an innovation quiz, collecting coins to buy a ticket and travel in a spaceship, and other experiences. Like in a video game, visitors earn credits and badges as they complete tasks.
Being an island, having a boat is essential, and that's why Instinct partnered with the Portuguese company FaroBoats to showcase their electric Faro5 boat and its PowerDock charging station, allowing visitors to take a virtual test drive of the Faro5.
Available in virtual reality, on computer, tablet, or smartphone, this new space on the Spatial platform aims to demonstrate the development potential for brands wishing to offer differentiated experiences. According to Nuno Ribeiro, Managing Partner at Instinct, “sooner or later, all brands will be in the metaverse, just like they are today on the internet. At Instinct, we believe the sooner, the better. Now is the time to attract users and participate in defining the new rules and codes of Web 3.”
A year ago, Instinct launched its office in the metaverse (a replica of their physical office). Since then, it has developed metaverse spaces for MEO (MEO, MEO Empresas, Fundação MEO, and MEO Kalorama), RFM’s virtual world, and an immersive exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of Jornal Expresso. As activating these spaces is a crucial part of metaverse strategies, Instinct has also assisted in organising events, press conferences, presentations, and contests, ensuring impactful experiences for all visitors.
